Answer» another question, how can i use a database to complete a task on the visitors system? WITHOUT using a software already installed on their system.. SAY the visitor connects, and i wanted to create a FILE %systemroot%\file.txt .. any WAY of doing this?If the visitor had no software on their system that interacted with your website / web server the only way you'd be able to do something like this is to have them download a file. In the case of your example you'd probably WAN to create a batch file that helps to create the file and have the user download that file. |
