I have wireless router attached to my CABLE modem. my pc -1 conects with cable to Router. my Usb PRINTER is attached to this pc-1.
my another 2 pc are wirelessly attached with router. the problem is i cannot USE printer unless pc-1 is on.(from 2 wireless attached pc's)
i have another old pc(p-3 650 mhz, 256 ram), i want to use this as a Print server.
please advice how can i use this as A PRINT SERVER.

surinderYou can use the old PC as a Print Server, but it must be on all the time, just the same as pc-1 must be on, as things are connected now.
