Solve : Vcore to high? / Computer to hot??

Answer»

Hi everyone, a few nights ago my COMPUTER RESTARTED itself for no reason and after doing some searching on what the problem could be I downloaded Sandra and found that my temprature was running at 58 degrees CELCIUS and my CPU voltage is at 2.22V.

There is also a WARNING message that says the Vcore is higher than the rated maximum. I have no idea what this means, anyone that could help would be MUCH appreciated! No, I bought it as Best Buy, it's a Sony Vaio PCVRS520I would contact the shop you bought it from angela.....vcore= overheating/overclocking i doubt if you have done that!Shouldn't the Vcore be 1.5 volts? Shouldn't the Vcore be 1.5 volts?

Depends on the processor. It has a 3.0GHz Intel Pentium 4

It is not under warranty anymore and they don't provide support for it.

Is there anyway to adjust the volts? You can under clock your processor in the BIOS.I have no idea how to do that. Can you point me to a site that might explain it?http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=FAQ
