ok so... my brother was installing a new game. it told him to change the color mode. HOWEVER he messed up and selected a unsupported resolution for my monitor. so now when you turn on the computer there is a blank screen. but you HEAR the windows98 login music thing. i know how to fix this if i can see the screen... but i cant see the screen so... how do i get around this.

Edit: i also see the bios load up and every thing untill the windows desktop comes up thats when it goes blank.

EDIT: oh and the GRAPHIC card is a 3dfx voodoo 1000 when windows is starting just after the bios screen hit you F8 key and then you should see a screen that offers options to enter safe mode. This workds fro Win XP and 2000...

im nout sure waht the key is for win 95 or 98... it might be F5..

once you getinto safe mode cahnge your res to a setting your moniter suports
