Ok heres the THING i have a 2.8ghz amd emachine with a integrated video card. I went out and bought a Pci radeon vid card and tried to put in... nothing. so i went into bios to disable the integrated..thats where i think something went wrong. Now it doesnt seem like the monitor is READING either the integrated or the pci.. I dont know what to do cause i cant see nothing. Sounds like the computer boots up fine but the green dot on the monitor just flashes..Help please
Thanks
Ericfirst thing i would tell you is too take your battery out for a couple minutes to reset your BIOS...let me know if that works....Hello friend. How are you?
Replace your new Video card with old ONE or if your old video card is built in then just remove the new card from ur PC. Now boot your PC and goto system bios and chose "Load BIOS default". Then just disable the built in video card and svae and exit. Now turn ur PC OFF and connect the new one. If it works then fine otherwise try to remove the new card and reput it in PCI slot if it is PCI one or in the AGP slot if you buy AGP card. Alo make sure that your PC's RAM are PROPERLY conncted to the BOARD and there is no dust right there.
I do hope that this will solve your problem.
Take care of you and others and be happy and dont worry.
Bye...
