I do not mean extremely CPU-intensive, though, I can get a respectable 39 FPS on GTA IV at 1600x900, all settings TURNED to MEDIUM, with the AMD computer in my specs, and 60 FPS on L4D2 at 1920x1080, 4xMSAA without ISSUES. A DECENT 20-30 FPS is also possible on Crysis 2 on the "Gamer" settings on my PC too. If yours is a first GENERATION Athlon, I would suggest upgrading. If yours is an Athlon II, then I would say go for it.Its an atlhon II x2 250Go ahead no it won't bottleneck your graphics card.
