|
Answer» hi guys , Are you only having the problem when playing...Winning Eleven? :-? i dont face any problem for other applications and this is the only game i play nowadays ... i bought a whole new PC not just the video cardSome things to try- Disable "write combining" in display properties/settings/troubleshoot, this can solve some memory bugs that CAUSE odd behaivior. Reduce Hardware acceleration, this can correct problems in specific games but must be manually turned back up after your finished playing the game. Uninstall video drivers then install latest Nvidia drivers ,drivers here-http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html Quote Some things to try- 1st of all .... when i press troubleshoot NOTHING happens !!!!! 2nd .... how to reduce HW acceleration .... i searched the whole Nvidia control pannel ... all i could find relevant to this is a compromise between performance and quality ... and screen refersh rate finally , i installed latest driver ... but the problem still goes ... plz guys help me with this .... any piece of advice is really appreciated MIDO.... Could you please list info on the new pc ..........? Make , Model and specifications . dl65 you might want to try a different monitor on your computer and see if you have the same problem. also, try your monitor on another computer and see if the colours blend together on that computer. doing this will either absolve your monitor or your computer. Quote mido.... Could you please list info on the new pc ..........? ok ... processor : pentium D 3.4 GHz 4 MB cache RAM : 1 GB DDR MotherBoard: Gigabyte 945 VGA + sound .... what else ? i am using Windows XP professional Quote you might want to try a different monitor on your computer and see if you have the same problem. also, try your monitor on another computer and see if the colours blend together on that computer. doing this will either absolve your monitor or your computer. i dont think it's the monitor .... coz this only happens with games but for other applications no color blending happens plus ... the monitor is new .... about 2 years old .... and it never showed any disturbance with my old PCTry the above suggestion before you make a conclusion that may be inaccurate. You need to find out where the problem really is.now i am sure it's not the monitor .... i tried the monitor on another PC and it worked fine .... btw , i didnt post my feedback earlier coz i was out of town ... anyway , so what's next ? i have a thought here : my power supply is 300 watt o/p power , and the minimum power for my card is 350 watt .... could that be the problem .... i guess not because the card wouldnt have worked in the first place .... am i wrong ? That's a good place to start.Sounds like a problem with the game... I am not SUPER familiar with video cards... But something very similar happened to one of my friends... But it turned out that he just bent some pins on his video card with his foot... Lawl... Anyway... I do not know what to say man... Sorry |
