Solve : Video Card Upgarde?

Sorry for asking such a basic question but, I have replaced my video card with a newer one.  The PC still shows the old one as being installed along with the original drivers and the display is in a very basic mode.
Should I uninstal all the old setting/drivers for the video card then INSTALL the new drivers?
When I tried to run the setup Cd it showed nothing on the disk yet on my old PC I can see drivers etc.
MUST admit I'm very confused.
Any advice appreciated.
My Pc spec is
CPU AMD Athlon XP 3200+
512 DDR
80Gb HDD
New Vidoe Card Radeon 9200Atlantis 256Mb
DVD-RW
O/S Windows XP Pro Quote

Yes, then reboot & install the new drivers that came with your video card.
Then go to the manufacturers website & get the latest drivers.You may wish to use a program such as Driver CleanerMany THANKS Guys
