Answer» I hope i'm in the right section to ask this question. SOMETIMES when using the system, at the task bar, a message appears saying "Virtual Memory is low- ...", please can someone give me an elaborate explanation of what that means and how to increase virtual memory, if possible. Thanks.When you GET that error, it means that you don't have enough installed RAM or that you have too many PROGRAMS running. You can find what kind of memory you need at www.crucial.com if you want to buy more. Or you can delete some startup programs in msconfig. To do this, go to Start -> Run and type in msconfig. Then go to the last tab and uncheck items that you don't need. (Post back for help with that) I thought so but wasnt sure if I remembered it right or not. It will start using the Harddrive for space an it is too good of a thing an will slow down the PROCESSING. |
