Answer» Tried to back up files etc. on to Back up drive, but back up failed as I got a message to tell me that it failed, as it was full. Now on start up , a WINDOW appears saying that there is low space on D. Can I delete the contents? The computer is a Dell INSPIRON 531. I've found out since I tried to do this back up, that I shouldn't have done this, but would like some help to PUT it right D is probably your RECOVERY partition and should be nearly full... It's not designed to have files added to it.Thanks for the reply and I think I'd REALISED that (too late) Does it matter that the D part of the hard drive is nearly full? and can I get rid of the notification on restarting the computer?
