Solve : Vista restarts randomly? |

Answer» Alright, Vista restarts randomly and so FAR I have no common thread. What I can say is that sometimes it stays on for days, sometimes 20 minutes. Right before it shuts down, the processor fan hums for about 5 seconds. I have installed temperature monitors, and the hottest the computer runs is 50 deg C, usually more like 40. I tried unplugging the processor fan, but it still restarts even though the TEMPERATURES are normal. I even TOOK the heat sink off, blew out all the dust, and replaced the heat sink compound all to no avail. I COULD probably figure out how to fix it if I knew what was causing it, but I really have no idea how to diagnose this. Any ideas? |
