Answer» I have an old AMD K6 II that i use to store music on,i would like to add a THIRD drive..Would anyone be able to POST the exact steps i take to do this, including slave settings ETC etc... ThanksDave666, there are a number of options depending on the available resources of your computer.it is unlikely that there is space available in the case for a 3rd internal plus i am unaware of a ribbon hdd cable that will have 3 connections on it. therefore you may wish to concider an external hdd. they have gotten a lot cheaper and are now available in obscene sizes. Again as an option if it is only music files that you want to store and you have usb ports portable flash drives are available At least at 8GB and higher which will store tons of music files and allow you the benefit of portability.good luck, truenorthThanks true north!....if i just replace the existing second(E) drive with another..I assume i just put the new one in exactly as the old one was set up?? Thanks Or you can add a PCI /IDE card allowing you to add up to 4 more IDE devices... Another option as well would be to see if that MBoard has any SATA connectors...most newer ones do.
