I bought and installed a wireless printer for my laptop (windows7) and it is working fine. Now, I have my desktop(windows XP) which is connected (WIRED) to a DIFFERENT printer which is my primary printer, but I now want my desktop to also have the capability to also print to the wireless printer which I installed for my laptop. I tried setting up a network on my XP desktop and searching for the wireless printer by its IP address but that didn't work, maybe I am doing something wrong. ??
Please help.. Are you sure your desktop is wireless?Depending on your network setup, it's likely the wired computer can't see the wireless printer. If you only have one router, you'll have to go into the router settings.
