LOL ! To the OP...you have a Pentium I 266MHz machine. You cannot put ANOTHER manufacturer's CPU in there. Different socket, different everything. This is an old lappy. Not worth throwing money at it. If you found some inexpensive used memory of the correct size/type, that would improve performance some, I suppose.
