Solve : water damage backlight.. HELP? |
| Answer» HELLO I recently dropped water on my hp pavillion 6928 and my backlight went out. Everything else on the computer works perfectly but the screens very dark. I was wondering if i need a new SCREEN or just a new backlight? Thanks for an helpAs far as I KNOW (and please correct me if I'm wrong) there isn't to much you can do about water damage. You could ALWAYS try using a DIFFERENT monitor but I guess that isn't exactly portable.well the computer itself stills works fine it is just the backlight that has the water damage. I was wondering could I just replace that piece since everything else is fine. Or do I haqve to replace monitor | |
