Answer» Hello All: Success at last! Went back to the WD site & did some digging(a lot of digging).... found an answer to a problem concerning Vista not initializing disks(must have been answer #252)even after the Zeroing with DATA Lifeguard.... Right Click red arrow on the drive your wanting to format and BINGO the initializing window pop's up..... Check mark that drive(if not already)& click OK.... Now you can go through the simple volume routine.... I feel LIKE I've gone through a war!..... I guess I'll take this as another learning experience....
