Solve : WebCam Video Help Please?

Answer»

Hi
Not sure this is the correct place to post this so I apologise in advance.

I very RECENTLY bought a Orite I-Watcher IC-100 Web Cam from Aria (this is an IP cam) have it working lovely however, I'd like to put the image from the web cam into a web page but don't know how to do this and the website www.orite.com.tw is not responding.

The webcam produces its own WEBPAGE with OBVIOUSLY a streaming picture from the webcam. I can see the webcam locally or from my ISP IP address but it uses its own builtin web page. How do I get that streaming image ONLY into my own webpage so that I can publish the streaming video on the internet for public viewing?

Your help would be MOST welcome.
Regards

KateRob thanks again for the code for the webcam BUT..... it only shows in IE and not FireFox..... any ideas ?

Here's the code.....attached BMP

Kate!  Where ya bin, lassie?!

It's an ActiveX control, I'm afraid.  It isn't going to work in Firefox.  I suspect you might NEED a more mainstream webcam if you want to publish to a wider audience...Ah well never mind !! LOL

Just my typical luck !

Thank you again.

Kate
