Solve : weird floppy drive activity? |

Answer» whenever i get to the "log on" screen my computer ACESS's the floppy drive, even though there is NOTHING in it, this lags my computer like crazy, it also does this after i log in... i have no clue why, but i unplugged it because it would try to ACCESS the drive at random times after i log in, there is no spyware, adware, or viruses on my system, i am really confused as to what is causing it. its almost like its possesed :-/ ... i unplugged its power, and IDE CABLE to shut it up and stop the laggingthe one ur using might be malfunctioning so it THINKS u just inserted a disc. id suggest getting a new one.(their like $10)ah... well crap... i wont be using the computer for much longer, i guess ill just leave it unplugged until i give it back to my dad and let him decide what to do with it |
