Answer» Its FAIRLY simple I think and yet I can't find a way to solve it maybe someone else is BRIGHER than me or has has the same problem.
I hooked up a microphone to my computer and in all the recording programs I tried including the setup wizzard the only sound thats get PUT through to my microphone are whatever is playing on my computer. Basicly the receiving party gets to hear my MP3s, movies, game sounds, windows pop ups and so on. And I can't seem to find where I can correct this. Hope to get some help with this as its starting to annoy me.in the control panel/sounds and media icon click..voice. tab .did you test you mic for sound?and is the mic in the correct jack plug?Narrowed down the problem a bit.
-Yes its in the right socket -No its not detected -Both my playback and recording device are set to realtek AC 97 audi.
When I unplug the mic the recording input of the mic is still the sound that goes to my speakers.pug the mic in and then go back to the sounds/medis icon click the device tab...inline devices..does it pick it up?what software are you USING trillian..i take that you wish to talk to people via the net..In order for players to use voice, the host and the players must turn on voice.
