Solve : What do you think I should buy??

Answer»

This month, I'll have an extra $600 to play with and have got a few ideas of what to do with it?
So far, it's a draw between a Wii, video projector, or a new PC. Of course, if I had all THREE, that would be cool, and one day I probably will.... but I'm trying to decide which would be cooler to have first.
SHARE your thoughts. What would you do with $600?I would probably buy the video projector because PCs are always going down in price so in a few months from now you can get a whole lot more for your money than if you would have bought it today. Also, according to the news, Wiis are very hard to come by these days. So that decision may have been made for you already. (Meaning, you can't get one because they're sold out!) That's my opinion. There's plenty of Wiis on Ebay, though. EVEN though they're marked up at least a hundred dollars. That's where I was planning on getting one... Ebay or Amazon.Quote from: michaewlewis on December 31, 2007, 11:23:53 AM

That is the ultimate goal. I'm still trying to decide which component is going to come first. Can you image playing the Wii on a projector, with a 102" screen...... I'd go with the projector if you have a good computer, but there's no sense getting the projector without a good computer... Check out Newegg, be careful buying used projectors, make sure the lens isnt scratches, and that there are no dead pixels. The best you can do is ask the seller, and look at their return policy. I don't buy used electronics anyways. Too much risk in my opinion. and no, I don't have a good computer. The best one I have is a 1.2 ghz w/ 512mb ram and it might have a video card too... not sure
Actually, I might end up waiting until I buy a house (2-6 months) and then I will know if I even have room for a projector. I would feel really dumb if I bought a projector and then the house I buy ends up not having a suitable wall for a screen.
