Answer» ok lets see,i am getting a job soon,i hope,and i am going 2 build a new computer
i have a geforce 5500 128bit,and it's not cutting it for me
all i do is PLAY games,:P
i currents have AGP,when i build my new computer,should i go with PCI,AGP,or PCI-E ?
i want 2 be able 2 play anygame,in best graphics, and run better than,a game on lower graphic ,If your getting a totally new system then you will want PCI express. PCI express is the new standard for video cards and will have a greater compatibility lifespan then AGP will as it is being phased out right now.
As for recommended cards- -Nvdia 7600GT, 7900 -great performance for under 200$ -ATI X1600pro, X1650 -again great performance for under 200$
One thing to keep in mind when building a good gaming system is that you want to BALANCE the rest of the components with the video card for the best overall performance. A really good video card can be crippled if your system has a very slow processor, very little ram or a WEAK power supply.
Wheather to go with ATI or Nvdia is a MATTER of personal preference as they both have their pros and cons but either will get the job DONE.
