I am PLANNING to buy a CPU for my Desktop. I am using Intel Celeron D with 2.66GHz and 533Mhz FSB and I want to buy dual core CPU. I am thinking on what CPU Brand will I buy? in other words, What is better CPU brand to buy based on their performance and durability? AMD or Intel? can you help me with this?

(I like Intels better anyway, but I'm not even about to get into that debate.)If using the same board make sure the board will accept a larger front side bus than 533.And make sure you get a 775 processor.Go with an intel Core 2 Duo or a Quad Core.He's going to have to tell us which motherboard he has. If it supports a 533Mhz FSB, it will not be 775.Hi jhay_e03!
