I have the chord that will go to the HDD to the board but what is the one i need besides that?If you want to split one Molex connector to provide power to two devices then you need a Molex Splitter. However many of the less recent power supplies came with only one/two or no SATA connectors. Which really gives it away as a SATA drive. Also, IDE drives are harder to buy these days, for INSTANCE the shop I WORK in no LONGER stocks IDE drives. This being said, the new drive may need a molex connector, which will be fine, as 95% of power supplies (or at least semi-decent ones) have 4 or more molex connectors.
