Answer» I have an HP Pavillion about 2yrs old 2.6Ghz p4, 1gig of ram, 6800oc video card. About 1 week ago my wife was telling me that the SCREEN pixelized and the computer shut down. It HAPPENED to me this morning, and now the computer will not fully REBOOT and just shuts down. Anyone have a clue what could be the problem? ok, i was thinking ram could be bad, what do you think? I am thinking you should pay attention to what I say. , I will check your suggestion, but if it is not an overheating issue, would ram be the next test in your opinion?
