Answer» Can someone update me on the latest in RAM and dual core-is it processors? What is this dual RAM -don't know the term I see listed on machines that usually run around $700 and up? How MUCH advertising hype is in these terms as far as actual increased PERFORMANCE goes? I'm going to get a new computer so I'd like to know what I can actually use and what is more than I need. I don't game a lot but some. Seems like whenever I buy a game it won't run because my machine is too slow. I'm mainly a web surfer but online videos don't work well on my outdated machine if at all. Let's start with a budget first...Can someone update me on the latest in RAM and dual core-is it processors? Well I can GO into the HIGHER priced machines if I want to but is that a smart use of money? I'd really just like to know a little about dual ram and processors. I would RECOMMEND a Dell Inspiron if you're just surfing the web.
