I estimate 1993-94.  I paid $40 from a liquidator about 8 years ago.  It's pretty heavy for a laptop; the case is magnesium alloy, but it's nearly INDESTRUCTIBLE.  It came with DOS 6.22/Windows for Pen Computing.  Touchscreen works in Windows.
