Solve : what's wrong with my motherboard???

Answer»

i have a MSI K9N6GM motherboard with a AMD64 Sempron 3200. was installed into a case. worked fine. HEN shut it down one day. will not start up again. when the power button is presse the internal fan and CPU fan spins, bbut no other lights or power. all cables have been tested in other computers, as have the power supply. the powe supply is a basic 250 watt. which is more then enough to power the motherboard, DVD drive and HD. how do i check or find out where the issue with the board could be without taking it to a store? thank you250 Watts is pushing it for almost any modern system.

What are your full system specs? (INCLUDING ALL hardware)

Go to this page and use the calculator. What does it say your total is approximately?

Don't replace it with a 20 dollar special though.Well, with that processor and board, I made a guess at what he might be running and came up with over 250 and that was being very generous.Quaxo you've always been the generous sort....!
