Ok, i'll have a GO, it's been done before, but hey.........
Cool hand Luke..........It's just class
Star Wars......All of them......I don't care about what any philistines that say 'the last three were rubbish' and 'this is better than that'......it's a story....the story's been told....deal with it.
The Sting - Comedy, Drama and fantastic story line with a twist - Brilliant.
ARMOUR of God - Jackie Chan - The fight seen in the refectory has to be seen to be believed.
Way of the Dragon - Has to be the totally uncut version
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Nuff said
The Matrix - All of them - (see Star Wars and add 'I don't understand the last 2' ......philistines!!)
Reservoir Dogs - Just for the shock value when i first saw it.
Shogun Assassin - Ultra violent martial arts - can never be wrong
Altered States - If you've seen it, then you know what i mean
I could go on for a lot longer than this. Enough is enough.
Airplane is one of my favorite movies. Since it came out I've seen it dozens of times but it was only recently that I saw the original 1957 movie it was based on called Zero Hour. And it was a serious movie. Airplane used a lot of the original DIALOG, and most of the original plotline with a few changes of course.Spirited Away is my favorite movie but I love many movies that I can't remember the names of right now.All of the Stars Wars....except the last one. I wanted Darth Vader to live on and the others die! There are many but 'The Goonies' and 'Lost boys' always stand out for me.
But to create a small list: Blade trilogy, star wars films (all), matrix trilogy, The crow, armour of god (jackie chan), star trek films, contact, The breakfast club, Snatch, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Pulp fiction, WALL-E, finding nemo, Terminator films, Alien 1234, Alien vs PREDATOR, predator 1, Platoon, Full metal jacket, Stardust, Chopper, Equilibrium, Drag me to *censored*, Resident evil 123, HANGOVER, Akira, Drunken master (jet li), Green mile and shawshank redemption.
I had to give up there or I would have to go downstairs and look through the 250-300 DVDs I have down there.
