Solve : what Speed of RAM would better suit my system??

i am looking to buy more memory for my computer and i am not sure what MHz i should get. also what is the maximum SPEED of RAM i can have without my computer affecting it.

i am using Windows XP These are my specs:

This will scan your system and tell you what kind of ram to USE and how much you can useFrom the documentation on Dell's site, it seems you can have a maximum of 4GB of RAM (1GB in each memory slot).
SUPPORTED speeds seem to be 400 or 553MHz DDR2.
