Answer» I have a mid size tower that my son built for me back in 1999 and in 2000 he passed away. Now my computer is getting old and needs to be upgraded, but I don't want to get rid of it . So the QUESTION is can I keep the case and replace the rest of the parts. I was going to add more ram and realized that adding ram was not going to help a SYSTEM that is that old.I'm sorry to HEAR about your son.
If you want to keep the case, you probably can, provided you can find a power supply that can fix inside it PROPERLY. Power connectors for motherboards from then to now have changed. Also, you need to make sure you get a motherboard that fits in the case as WELL.
