Solve : What would you buy?? |
|
Answer» I wanted to see what item is the most popular (assuming you have the money). Please make this realistic. What would you actually buy if you were willing to spend the money. Don't just click most expensive.Oh joy.......another Poll.I want to see a $400 laptop. Quote I want to see a $400 laptop. I don't. Quote QuoteI want to see a $400 laptop. Neither do I. $400 laptops tend to be COMPAQsI'd buy none of the above. I have no use for an iPod as they tend to be restrictive and more a "fashion symbol" than something bought because it's good. I already have an MP3 player. I have no use for a PSP as I only play PC games, I don't want to play cut-down games on a small screen with tiny controls, the way Sony wants me to. All my music I play on my PC, so I don't want a CD player. Ditto DVD player. And I already have a laptop. That's my opinions anyway. As SUGGESTED above, a $400 laptop wouldn't be much use.true, a $400 laptop would be rather weak and sloooooowwwwwww, but EVEN 256MB of RAM can handle DVDs and music. 1GB flies. And 512MB is a ok but not great. The CPU and GPU don't matter except for games. I found an HP for $400 can't do much though. I'll chang to $500 which accomadates 512MB of ram. anything under $600 is about as good as a geforce 2 integrated. So what exactly is the point of this drill? I wanted to see how many people prefer branded things like the ipod and psp over unbranded ones like laptop, or mp3 player. Quote So what exactly is the point of this drill? If they are all the same price that could be relevant, but you are comparing a no name $50 MP3 player with a laptop. I don't get it.i meant something like: ipod vs mp3 psp vs laptop get what i mean?I understand. What is your choice of multimedia players? I chose Laptop. I just bought a OLD Califone Record Player so I could play all my old vinyl records. You talking about the good old days!Even CCR and Hendrix sound like they should. Ebay and $46.00 including shipping got me a fine piece of history. So, why didn't you include record players and Reel to Reel tape recorders? Old people like music too. Heck,PeckerWood is 105 years old and he dances the boogy with my new old record player. I wasn't even aware they still made record players! BTW: what's a 'reel-to-reel' (I'm not that old! ) are you referring to audio cassettes? Quote I wasn't even aware they still made record players! ReelToReel The sound of this would amaze you too Whipper Snapper. I think you made an interesting post linuxlover. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] You were also nice to make an Oh Joy!Poll ,Just for patio. |
