Answer»

Hey so heres the deal,
I have a Lenovo Y550P and i never had a sound problem but minutes ago i realized that when i plugged the headphones in the sound quality dropped very very low, what should i do, cause i always use the laptop with headphones plugged, please please help meeeeeeeeeeee, its not a problem with the headphones cause i tried SEVERAL ones and they all have the same problemmm, Thanks very much, MarcDefine "very very low" quality. If you've tried more than one pair of headphones, it's possible the jack itself is damaged. This can HAPPEN over time. It can also happen if the plug its knocked too hard while plugged in, causing it to damage the jack. w0000t, could it be that my pc is messing my headphones up cause i GOT one that worked on my sisters pc just now, plugged it in my laptop, it had the same problems and then i plugged it in my ipod and the same problems happennThe only way your PC could damage the headphones themselves is if it is sending out a post amp signal instead of line level signals.
