Answer» A colony of ants MOVED into my laptop while a relative had it in his car for a couple days. The colony of ants and their babies occupied every inch of my laptop they could find. In an EFFORT to get rid of them I disassembled the laptop and did a successful cleaning. When I reassembled it I realized I had left out the part shown in the pics. I was even more upset when i realized that i had no idea where on the laptop it came from. The laptop is a TOSHIBA SATELLITE M305D-S4831. I know its old but except for some memory issues ( which I can easily fix) it was working fine. If anyone can tell me where the part belongs on this MACHINE I would be grateful. Grateful enough to buy you 5 bux worth of stuff. Thanks in advance. Looks like it is part of the lid hinge. Does the laptop open and close fine?It opens and CLOSES just fine. I did TRY to see if it would fit on the hinge but I was unsuccessful. I will try again though. Thanks.
