Long / short My original intent was to replace the HDD. Thinking I had the XP disks from my original purchase. Then realized I also needed XP (SOFTWARE in general). Figured no big DEAL its still reasonable. Then I figured I may as well replace the Burner because I did use it alot. Both are bad the HDD and the Burner. I guess it got confusing because it changed as I got more responses, this was actually started in a different thread, and as I changed my mind WITH THOSE RESPONSES. I just now read your other thread. If you decide to get a new machine PM me and I'll make you an offer.LOL I was actually hoping to get an offer so I can deduct it from my total cost on th ebuying a new one side vs the rebuild.
