[Saving space, attachment deleted by admin]Both coolers should be fine, why don't you stick to the one that came with the processor?
You can't overclock something without degrading the LIFESPAN of the component. Overclocking increases heat, and ALWAYS reduces the life of the component.
If you want more performance SPEND a few dollars more and purchase faster components. Intel stock coolers are more than adequate...return the other one.Quote from: Quantos on November 06, 2009, 01:06:47 PM Both coolers should be fine, why don't you stick to the one that came with the processor?

Thanks for the tip..
But i updated my bios version and it came with a new menu (AI Overclock) or something like that... and i set it to 20% is that still gonna shorten the life expectancy.. I would not overclock unless it's done by the manufacturer and they stick a good warranty with it.QuoteBut i updated my bios version and it came with a new menu (AI Overclock) or something like that... and i set it to 20% is that still gonna shorten the life expectancy.. Short answer: Yes.
