|
Answer» I am planning on building a gaming PC with a budget of around $900, I have chosen the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 TI graphics card, Intel Core i5-2500K processor and the MSI P67A-GD55 motherboard. I am almost ready to purchase the components, I just have to choose which memory I am going to buy. Which of the below memory should I buy? Keeping in mind value for money and compatibility to the system I'm building. Here is the list of compatible memory for the motherboard: http://www.msi.com/file/test_report/TR10_2226.pdf The memory modules we list below are for reference only. Owing to massive memory modules SELLING on the market, we can onlyfrom http://www.msi.com/file/test_report/TR10_2226.pdf No the 2x 2GB is also compatible: http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=88So is this compatible with my motherboard? www.mwave.com.au/sku-37140433-G_Skill_4GB_(2x_2GB)_Dual_Channel_Kit_PC3_12800_(1600MHz)_DDR3_240_pin_DIMM_UnbuBoth of them are compatible.Yes, it should be. You seem to be making it more complicated than it needs to be with the PDF you posted. Just make sure your board supports the type (DDR3) speed (1600) and size of your RAM and that's it.Ok thanks for the help guys. So which of the two do you think I should buy?Whichever one you find more aesthetically pleasing, lol. Or you could SAVE a couple bucks and buy a bar of chocolate if you buy the cheaper one. |
