Answer» I have a computer running win xp rpo and all is ok but I was thinking I building a PC. But what you are telling me is that win xp ro with Service pack 2. never came in a 16 Bit version it just supports 16 Bit??That's what I'm telling you. XP came in 2 different 64 bit flavours, HOWEVER they were on a different code base. It was never made in a pure 16 bit flavour. Then the win xp CD is 32 Bit or 64 Bit but this is not installed can I put it in my CD ROM Drive and some HOE findout if it is 32 Bit or 64 Bit?It will say either "Windows XP Professional" or "Windows XP Professional X64 Edition" on the CD. It's very obvious which it is, there's no way you could get confused. There's a very high chance that it's the normal 32 bit version, as the X64 edition is not all that common. It does not say anything but Windows XP Pro with Serice Pack 2. It is a store CD so it should say 32 Bit on the CD and it does not. But since it does not say 32 Bit or 64 Bit then is it a 32 BitRead my post again. I said it will either say X64 edition, or it will not. As it doesn't, it is the normal everyday 32 bit version. This won't be stated on the CD as at that time, it was the only version available, there was no 64 bit edition. |
