I have a Windows 8 Pro 64 X UNIT, that I built for my SIDE business an started running into issues before I had put it up till I moved into the house I bought a few months back. It gives me a start up error an runs a check disk an auto repair. Usually, the repair will fail along with the start up repair; I thought that initially, I had restore points made but, it's not showing them. It's giving me startup repair couldn't repair this pc, press advance options an creates a log. I tried refresh your pc, fails an tells me that no changes were made. have you tried a clean INSTALL?The HDD is failing...to confirm this DLoad and run the Free diags from the HDD manuf. site...follow the guide to creat a boot media for the tests...This is a new DRIVE an hardly got used. I'm not WIPPING the drive when I have whatever, for files on it.So yer not gonna test it ? ?..testing does NOT wipe it.
