Solve : Windows ME SVGA Driver? |
|
Answer» I just installed windows ME on an old laptop that was previously running windows XP (but not very well, which is why i switched OS's) but I do not have a built-in svga driver - all i have is the vga 16 colour 800x600 graphics driver. This makes anything almost impossible to do - fonts are almost illegible, most sites with fancy graphics i can't navigate through - can anyone tell me where i can GET a generic svga driver? I spent 4 hours today getting one, and then the instructions said RUN setup.exe - THERE wAS NO SETUP.EXE !!!!!!! I hate driver websites. Can anyone help? ...or it may be good enough for Win 2K...weird, after I posted... I had the same thought...Wait a sec.....where is my crystal ball? It was right here, few minutes ago I dunno... can't you just get another one from your crystal ballroom? But this one had Chrome's bank account transfer module built-in.....lol windows98SE wasn't recognising our broadband and also didn't have an svga driver, and we don't have the install disks for win2k or else i would have used that. Windows XP was just running sooooooooo slooooooooowlyBrand, and model of the laptop, please.
