Answer» So I have a specialty printer that uses a 25 PIN serial port (SAYS HI-POT over the port). Vista doesn't support serial ports so I got a female serial to usb male adapter off ebay for a couple bucks. I'm trying to run EVERYTHING through microsoft virtual pc using windows 2000. I can't seem to get the computer to go through the usb port to the serial printer. Any suggestions? I'm not very technical so explain it to me like I'm a child if you could.I have a friend who had the same problem. He solved his by using a PS/2 adapter instead of USB. Stay patient some smart PEOPLE will drop by and may have a better suggestion. Good LUCK and let us know when you solve it. |
