Answer» I didn't know were else to put this.
How do I WIPE everthing off my hard drive? If you're just going to reinstall your operating system (depending on the system), you can USE the operating system CD to perform this.
You can also use diagnostic software provided by the hard drive manufacturer. Do you know who manufactured your hard drive...and what the model number is?
I can then provide you with a link to download the software you NEED to do this.Do you have your operating system disk? Do you know how to boot to a CD? This is not as hard as you think it is Make sure you have all of your data backed up and have all of your program disks before you start the wipe.
When you boot to the disk make sure you follow this order: 1. delete partition 2. create partition 3. format your partition.
