Solve : Wiping the hard drive of a laptop? |

Answer» Long story short, I want to wipe my hard DRIVE so that I can trade in my old COMPUTER that I don't use anymore. I'm under the impression that the only way to wipe the hard drive is to format it. However, I don't have a backup of the OS disk handy. Is there any way for me to wipe/format the hard drive without the OS disk?Go to http://www.dban.org /Thank you for the website.
