Solve : wireless card wont insert in laptop? |

Answer» Hello, I just recently purchased a dell inspiron E1705, and i have a problem. You see i have my own wireless card that works better than the one built in my dell pc. and there is a slot on the side to insert your own wireless card. now the problem is that my card wont go in fully. it goes in like 4/5 of the way but then just wont go no more. its not attached to my pc because my pc doesnt detect any new hardware and i know it DIDNT fully go in. i've tried this with 3 diffrent wireless card and none go in. I also no there is nothing blocking its PATH because the laptop is just 3 days old. Is there any kinda SAFTEY thing blocking it or SOMETHING. im confused. its my FIRST time owning a laptop. i mostly work with desktops. please help meIf it is new, then I would contact Dell immediately. That is not a normal occurrence. |
