The OWNER of this laptop has had and used this wireless card with the same router with no problems til about 2 months ago. on start up the internet will not connect and when it does it disconnects itself a few hours later and reconnects itself hours later as well. any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. any questions you have just feel free to ask and ill answer what i can How old is the card ? ?

Heat may be an issue here as well...card is about 2 years old far as i know. i believe heat is an issue as wellTo find out if it is the card have someone with a laptop use it for a day or so...
If it does the same thing the card is going South.I had the same issue with the first card I had, which came with my laptop, I bought a new one and it has not bother me since then... "REPLACE the card, is easier and cheaper"Praetorian319,

Before suggesting some one run out and BUY new PARTS let some of the experts on here see if they can source the problem and maybe help FIX it. Replacing a part is not always easier or cheaper if the person needing the help doesn't have the time, money or knowledge to do so.patio, ill def try that when i get the chance. thanks.
