Installed DSl and wireless router(Dlink 108Kbs). My laptop with Win XP is able to connect with WEP encryption and password with no fuss. My older desktops with Win 98SE can connect to the router through password, but not the internet! Am I missing some setting in the router's config routine?Did you get a manual with it?The router comes only with an install CD which WALKED me through the BASIC setup, and it seemed to get things done. My laptop is connected OK.  Both of my 2 older desktops running Win 98SE, with Celeron 500.  The laptop is a year-old Toshiba with built-in Wifi Athero 108kbps.  For the desktops I use a USB Linksys 54kbps adapter, because anything faster seems to need abandon Win 98SE.  It has been working because it can from time to time connect to unsecured routers from the neighborhood.  When I connect to my own secured router with WEP password protection, they SHOW connection to the router but not to the internet.  What's where I GOT STUCK.  May be some of the router setting is not right, just for Win 98SE?!!
