Solve : words in news letters are showing symbols? |

Answer» Just curious but would like to fix this PROBLEM if possible. - sometimes in a news letter some of the words come out with symbols MIXED in with letters. Like so- €œstuffâ€Â�. Does anyone know why, and what can I do about this mumble jumble???Maybe it is Unicode. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode Some web sites use Chinese and other fonts that need Unicode. If your BROWSER does not get it right, you get symbol soup.That was quick. First - thanks so much. Second - Do I change something on my computer, and how do I do this?Hmm, I don't remember. My PC is just English, but I can get to sites with Unicode. It is in my browser. Look at this: http://www.hotpeachpages.net/lang/index.html If you do not see the PROPER EASTERN language symbols, your browser does not have the proper Unicode stuff. On the bove site look for : Click on it and follow the guidelines given. thanks again geek, Will check it out. |
