Solve : XFX Geforce 6200 TurboCache TV Out?

Hi, i have a XFX Geforce 6200 TurboCache, im trying to get it linked up to my TV via and S-video cable.
all ive been able to get it a brief blue flicker on the screen. computer picks up the TV and does output the extra screen ( i know this because of using print screen and both are present), ive tired it on more that one TV with the same RESULT, i know both TVs support this function as i used to do it with my laptop. ive tried adjusting all the settings i can THINK of and STILL no output on TV. any HELP would be great.
