Solve : XP DOS uppercases diskette file names?

1.	Solve : XP DOS uppercases diskette file names?
Answer» Files transferred between my Win98 and XP machine via diskette via DOS are FORCED upper CASE by XP. A dir shows them lower case on XP but upper case on 98. I've reformatted the diskette with XP to AVOID a possible FAT problem and the problem persists with both COMMAND.COM and CMD.EXE. Any help would be appreciated.
