Our pc was corrupted and we had to REINSTALL windows XP Pro. Everything stayed plugged in as it was prior to the re-install, but now it wont detect the speakers, WEBCAM or microphone.
If I go into the control PANEL into the sound/audio tab, every button is inactive- it wont let me change or add anything and just says that there is no audio device, no sound device, no recording device.
Any help would be great- Did you reinstall all drivers?I did, but the hardware is all plug and play and the pc wont even recognise they are there...I'm going to BET you forgot to install the chipset driver.Do you KNOW that make and model of your machine? Or at least the motherboard?
