Answer» SCIENCE & FUTURE Science, it was not known to people till the 10th Century. The people used to look at everything as an act of God. But Science has given the real answer to each and everyone and nowadays no one even thinks to KNOW about anything without the auspicious touch of science. Science is now even a poor man's work, for example, a motor used to distribute water evenly to each farmer's fields, similarly the fertilizers which are harmful but still used. Earlier farmers used to put manure to their crops but now they put on fertilizers which are very harmful. Now, by this 21st Century, everything we see around us is an INVENTION of science. Science has even played a major role in shaping the lives of all. Due to science we are able to live lavishly and have a lot of entertainment. It is due to science that we exist on this Earth. Science is the basic need of our daily life. Nowadays it seems that science has bestowed a lot on us but we keep on forgetting that the nature has instilled a lot of facilities. We neglect them and keep on our way with science.So I conclude with the thought that in the future generation there will be everything that will depend on science. We would be so dependable on them that they would almost be into their trap and without anyone of us noticing that. ADVENTURE Adventure is popularly sought by people todaywho work hard to eke out a living and then fall into the sameness ofroutine life. Human nature seeks variety while routine becomes monotonous toosoon. Monotony causes frustration and kills ENTHUSIASM. Hence, short weekendsbreaks that offer adventure are taken more these days. Hillsare the popular destination of all alike. River rafting, mountaineering, skiingand trekking hold fascination, especially for younger generation, who can stillrough it out. Camping in freshness and splendor of naturalsurroundings is a unique experience. Waking up to the music of the call of thebirds is music to the ears for the city dwellers who are used to only honkingand blaring noise. Adventure sports playan important role in shaping and developing the personality of a person. Thusadventure proves to be great even for health. GLOBAL WARMING Global Warmingis the heating up of the Earth's Surface and the rise in the usual temperature of the Earth. The maincauses for the rise in temperature are : Thesmoke from automobiles, Thegreen house effect where the clouds hold the heat given by the sun and whenEarth radiates it back the cloud cover reflect it back and so the excessheat cannot escape into the atmosphere and CFC's(Chlorofluorocarbon) given out by Air Conditioners,Fridges,coolers,etc. Theresults of the Global Warming are that There isrise in temperature of the Earth's surface, Themelting of glaciers at the poles causing in floods and depletion of the ozonelayer with the effect of CFC and due to this a big HOLE in the ozone layerwhich protects us from sun's ultraviolet rays. The hole is over Antarcticawhose EXTENT is as North America. Ways toprevent Global Warming are: 1. Touse CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Buses. 2. Useof Buses with CNG because people can travel place to place with only theemission of gas from the bus, Suppose 30 people go in bus then it will producesless harm than if 30 people start their own cars. 3.Limited use of AC's. 4.Fridges must be left open for very less time. |
